DBC Juniors- Welcome to November (albeit a soggy one) and the start to a new season. As many of you know Steve Wick has decided, after several incredibly successful years, to step down as the Juniors Race Team Director. Steve, and Joan Anton before him have done an incredible job creating a team of tremendous athletes and class individuals that have flown the flag for the DBC Juniors.

In 2009 Mike Pugh and I will be taking the reins from Steve (don't worry guys he'll still be around) and hope to continue the successful legacy that he has built. To get things started we would like to hold a kick-off meeting on Sunday evening, November 16th. Time and place to follow so keep an eye out on the blog for the details.

Mike and I know many of you well, some not so much so and some not at all, but that will soon change. We're looking forward to helping you work towards your goals for 2009 so take some time to start thinking about what you want from the upcoming season. Also, if there are others that are not currently members of the team, but that you think might have interest in joining us for 2009, please pass along the kick-off meeting information as it firms up over the next few days.

Shawn/Mike... You know what one of your goals are for 2009. You have to try and produce a group of
Juniors that can kick the DBC Masters as@, well you know what we mean. Cody is getting kinda old and slow! So we hope there are some fast ones that are coming up the pipe line. We are really looking forward to having the two of you at the Helm.
Steve we wish you the best for your
time and efforts. You have done the DBC Bike Club proud. We are hoping now that you will come out and join us for some Riding and Racing. Errr, aren't you a Masters?

Nothing to do with the team meeting But I had to share this I was riding this morning And I saw what I thought was a mirage, But I knew it was to cold or maybe I was dilious from the cold. It was none other than DBC Jr Alumni M.O.B.
